The Friendsville Group

Fortuna has provided the following Group Update:

As of 11/5/09, Fortuna has been successful in achieving its goals regarding lands leased in the Friendsville Group area and is looking forward to long-lasting relationships and opportunities in these communities.  For those who have already signed Friendsville leases, payment can be expected on or about December 19, 2009, unless otherwise indicated on your Order of Payment.  For those still interested in leasing with Fortuna, new leases will continue to be accepted on membership Group lands; however, any leases signed after the deadline of November 15 will be subject to Fortuna’s standard lease.

The association between Fortuna and the Friendsville Group creates an exciting opportunity for future drilling. Please continue to check the fortunaenergy.com site for ongoing updates and contact the Good Neighbor Hotline at 866-566-4747 with any additional questions.

The Core Team is in the process of contacting any remaining Members who have not signed Leases.  By now, hopefully the word of the Friendsville Group Deal has gotten out to all Members, but if you know of any neighbors who still wish to sign leases, please have them contact Fortuna before 15Nov09.
