Final Seismic Agreement and Addendum

Sunday, December 13, 2009

PGS On-Shore has contacted many Members from the Friendsville Group requesting that they sign an agreement allowing property access to conduct a 3D Seismic Survey.  PGS On-Shore is doing a proprietary 3D shoot for Fortuna and other gas companies in the area of the Friendsville Group.  We did not like the original language in the agreement so we requested that Fortuna, PGS On-Shore, and our Friendsville Group Oil and Gas Attorney, Warren Trainor, draft an addendum to the Seismic Base Agreement.  See this link to the original Seismic Base Agreement:

PGS On-Shore is paying $5/acre to the Landowner for the inconvenience of allowing the survey crews on the property.  Make sure that there is $5/acre payment language included before you sign the Seismic Base Agreement.

Fortuna and PGS On-Shore have agreed to the following Seismic Addendum to provide more specific language, to define duration, and to better link the Seismic work to the Friendsville Group Lease:

We recommend that once you receive an executed/signed Friendsville Group Lease and Payment in the mail from Fortuna that you sign both the Base and Addendum Agreements for PGS On-Shore.  Compare the Seismic Base Agreement and the Seismic Addendum Final documents on this website to those provided by PGS On-Shore when they approach you and request sign-off on the permit.

Thank you,
The Core Team
