The Friendsville Group

The Friendsville Group Members plus Add-Ons in the Deal with Fortuna came to a total of 1384 Landowners covering 1703 parcels.  Everyone who requested 2009 payment, who did not have a title problem, has been paid.  Those Landowners who requested split payments or full payment in 2010, and do not have title issues, will paid by mid-Feb10.

 

Of the 1703 total parcels, Fortuna only has 41 parcels remaining that have title issues.  Fortuna hopes to have these title problems resolved by mid-Feb10.  All of these Landowners with issues should have been called or contacted by letter from Fortuna.  The troubles with titles have for the most part been administrate in nature where paperwork needed to be fixed to make sure that the property ownership was clear.  Fortunately, there were not many titles where the cloud was on the mineral rights.  If you have any questions about payment or title issues call the Fortuna Good Neighbor Hot Line at 866-566-4747 to get your questions answers or problems resolved.
